about phoebe
Phoebe is based in Brooklyn, NY. She graduated from Barnard College in 2018. Phoebe has been photographing with film (first 35mm, now 120mm) since age 12 when her dad gave her his Canon AE-1 from the 1970’s.
Her work has been published in NPR, The Appeal, WWNO (New Orleans Public Radio), and WRKF (Baton Rouge Public Radio), ABC News, The Daily Hampshire Gazette, The Cut, Refinery 29, Crescent to Capitol, The Columbia Spectator and Barnard Magazine.
In 2021, Phoebe lived in New Orleans researching, audio interviewing, writing, and photographing the following story on compensation for exonerated individuals in Louisiana:
